Limitations

This program was developed using the published information from the OHTS study (1, 2). This equation gives a average risk of disease. The range of values represent the 95% confidences intervals of the subjects within the study and values outside of this range may not be representative of the population from which we developed the equation. Finally, the OHTS participants were experienced and reliable in visual fields. This equation is most valid when used in similar patients.
